Kepopuleran wordpress sudah tidak tertandingi saat ini di dalam dunia blogging atau blogosphere. Kemudahan penggunaan, banyaknya theme serta plugin membuat wordpress dicintai banyak orang. Tetapi tetap ada keterbatasan yang dirasa dalam penggunaan WordPress karena memang desain arsitektur WordPress yang sederhana tersebut. Oleh karena itu ada developer-developer WordPress yang membuat project CMS baru yang lebih canggih di mana sudah memanfaatkan fasilitas berorientasi objek dari PHP5, dukungan Ajax dan OpenID dari awal bernama Habari.
